But I can not celebrate with you
because we're not together
it seems that though I know this
it hits me at moments like these
when I see glances of what it could be like

We could be together
and share in the happiness of another year
enjoy the laughs and the tears
but beyond all that
we'd be together
on your birthday...

wistful. except a stronger word.

always on march 7th, i think about how eleven years will never grow shorter, and how because of that i'll never get to wish him a happy birthday the way i want to.
