everyone thinks this i'm sure

I wish I could control you (a puppeteers poem)

I wish I could control you

And everything you do

I'd lock your heart behind a door

And never let you through

I'd stand you in the middle

Of a room thats cold and bare

I'd tune you like a fiddle

Till you had not one care

I'd carve you down like ivory

Make you have no anomalies

I'd purge out your tomfoolery

And whittle away your worries

The perfect girl I'd own then

But she would not be mine

A plastic doll of stone then

Whose eyes would show no shine

So you I'll keep if you will

Stay with me just to fulfill

That wish we had up until

We realized it came true

I really enjoy your poetry. This one flows so smoothly off the tongue. Very nicely worded.
