I wrote this poem two years ago...and am now reposting...for a friend...

No Matter Where You Go

No matter where you travel
No matter where you go
My love for you will follow
Just as the rivers flow

No matter where life takes you
Be it near or be it far
Look up into the inky sky
And find the evening star

And if that star may be the first
That you will see at night
Then make a wish, as I will too
That soon we'll reunite

No matter where you travel
We'll never truly part
Because you see...I carry you
Deep within my heart

Well Dee this is certainly one of your finer works. You are very adept at the "Try A little Tenderness"genre.
Kudos

This brought a deadly tear to my eye Dee, HW was my late husbands initials. Excellent romantic poem, of two lovers separated by circumstance. Wishing upon a star, is something I did many moons ago....my wish was that he would find peace in his life and he did but he died finding it. No matter where he went, my heart holds him close still. But one cannot dwell on lost lovers too long! I am looking for a F**k buddy now!lol and getting close to my required specifics! Smiling at you cryptically,

Tai
