I saw him and he saw me
but neither raised our eyes


We didn't look at each other

I don't know if it was me
Or if it was you
But when you arrived tonight
We kept looking forward
both of us...

You came in and sat right next to me
But neither of us lifted our gaze
Forced to interact but still not
I couldn't seem to look at you
but you didn't look at me either...

I thought it was my fault
That I was the one looking off
I thought that I was the one who felt like this
But you didn't look at me either...
we just didn't look at each other...
