I don't own a Ford and this is nothing to do with cars.

Cars

I have an afFordinary car
But receive special offers,
That want
To lighten my coffers,
From unexpecteds
Intent on improving my lot
By relieving them of one from theirs.
Well, I'm not
Going to allow the fool to fool
Me into joining others
Of the drool;
Most
Have the desire
To fill me
With a fire
For something
Exactly similiar
To something
At-home familiar.

They are trying
To get me to purchase,
With fund-throwing-away
And bank-account lurches,
A wondrous
Asset
That I already have.
I think I'll pass. It
Is tempting at times
When presented with a new -
But a new is just an old
With a few
Unwanted and unneeded
Extras:
Up-rated, flashing dashboard-dials
And seats with dead exotic-creature textures.

I say no –
But there are occasions
When a Ferrari drives into
My imaginations.

Peter Humphreys
Have you noticed all the Bank adverts these past two weeks trying to seduce us? It seems the credit crunch is crunching you and me but for some reason not others?
