I hate saying goodbye (cliche poem)..
I forgot to say goodbye my love
Forgot to blow a kiss
Trudged to the door I waved, my love
I always leave like this
So come, my love, whatever may
Lets wash our tears 'neath this sad day
Lets talk the long dull hours away
Come, what may
I dont know if truth is what you'll hear
Don't know if you are ready
I long to tell, to be sincere
But only if you'll let me
I'm not worth your deep smiling eyes
Not worth your dark demeanor
I long to drop my senseless lies
And tell the story clearer
So come, my love, whatever may
Lets wash our tears 'neath this sad day
Lets talk the long dull hours away
Come, what may
My soul slips softly sound asleep
My eyes close tight rond your last gaze
Your face floats when my vision's weak
Your prize the end of the maze
I wish once more that Icould tell
What words fail miserably to entail
Shall we weave a senseless spell
Or fall to love and never fail
