I'm not sure who this is about, probably most people I know
We sit
all of us together
pretending that each of us is not secretly alone but for one other
pretending that we are all here
not just intersecting pairs of us
we laugh
we talk
we play
we try not to let on that we laugh for the one other who exists in the world
that our speech is mot merely a disguise
a mask of silly words and meaningless jokes
that our games are not simply excuses to stare at the One
who glows brilliantly
in the light
that we forget
we are shining
