Autumn excites all my senses
The wind sweep them up in a dance
They float to the ground with grace
The sun makes them shine with a glance.
The smell in the air is of wood
its dampness being challenged by fire
creating smoke of a certain aroma
that ignites an outdoor desire
I walk through the crunchy forest
boots, jeans and flannel protect me
Invigorated I feel like a child
Embarking upon a glee spree

Autumn Glee Spree
The trees drop their leaves like rainThe wind sweep them up in a dance
They float to the ground with grace
The sun makes them shine with a glance.
The smell in the air is of wood
its dampness being challenged by fire
creating smoke of a certain aroma
that ignites an outdoor desire
I walk through the crunchy forest
boots, jeans and flannel protect me
Invigorated I feel like a child
Embarking upon a glee spree
