MY APOCALYPSE HAS JUST ARRIVED

Oh darkness,
once more you summon me,
my apocalypse has just arrived.

The flaming shelter beneath the roaring sky
and the angels with damaged guilt-wings.

I've seen it before through mindless shame
and I guess I will see it again.

The souls unworthy of the blessed
and the blessed, unworthy of me.

Oh darkness,
once more you summon me,
my apocalypse has just arrived.

Kathy Lockhart
this speaks to the dark days that many of us go through. It has a sadness, a loneliness, a fearfulness that weaves through each word.
