Poetry.com

1
alabaster prints screamed in bleached night
dripping bloodless purity
milk of the moon
dead and free

2
we danced with fistfuls of shadows
clinging to untamed desire
lost in midnight ruins of love

3
fiery breathing
pricked ears
flared manes howl in stampede
clotted air
rolling storm
pounding
leaving
end.

deep quiet
moist clouds
soft silky world
sleeping sky
waking
rising
begin.

4
death's sequestered knowledge
is known beyond the soul
and becomes mightier
as physical power ends

5
peace floats soft
curves beyond

strife crashes loud
breaking hot

time never interferes

6
silky love
patiently changes
into
fire

7
awake
look
heaven is found
sun moon stars
touch the rain
life is waiting

8
rain is life
running delicious
calming my nerves
tingling
drought is done

why not? silky is an excellent word!
i submitted some poems to poetry.com a few years back, i "won" their contest. just like everyone else... it's just a scam site, but i'm glad to see such beautiful poetry coming from inspiration from that site. maybe i'll try the random word assortment thing someday.
nice work,
t.
