Twilight's Dance
His easy smile turns the heavens towards the lightsthat flicker and twinkle in these November nights.
Twirl your hair in Twilight's rosy comforting glance
and speak the quiet whisper unknown in your soul;
yet to break into a flirting waltz upon this chance.
Where shall we go tonight under the Twilight's care
wrapped all in bundles of togetherness and easy dare's?
Could we leap like the newborn gazelle as it spies its mother,
or dance within the piano's laughing chord as children do?
Sing with me, and I shall sing along too, smiling brother,
For Time tingles tonight and each orb in tonight's sky
bounces its diminished glow onward as if to ask 'why'
this night is so carefree and makes the heart feel delight
within the moving wind and the carefree breeze again.
Dally not, friend, come and begin our dance this night.
