Something's Changing

No one knows what's wrong
No one ever cares
Why should I keep trying?
When I'm just a drop in this world?

So many people are much more important
I'm no use here any longer
There's nothing I could do to make this change
I'm just a number for all of you here

I never thought I'll feel this way
After everything that happened
I've always thought it would last forever
But there's a change going on inside of me
Which I've got to handle on my own.

I do not know what has happened to you, nor do I know you. But I do know you are more than a drop in this world. I thought you were important enough to read your poem. I thought it was important and good enough for me to comment on. Now that I've contacted you, I feel we have a connection. I do not want you to feel worthless. It is important to me that you consider my words important enough to take seriously. We have a connection now. You have connected with me through your poem, and I have connected with you through my response. You matter to me. Please understand that if you matter to me, you matter to so many others. Most of all, I want you to understand that you matter to God. He has given you talent and wants you to use it. I look forward to reading more of your writings. Remember you are loved.
