About my dreams, that I have to watch every night.

In times that await

In times of hope;
In times of despair;
I look towards what future holds for me.

Whether it be fear;
Whether it be Depression;
Whether it be annoyance;
Or whether it be all three.
I shall remove all problems;
I shall annihilate;
I shall decapitate;
I shall hang, draw and quarter;
The depression that awaits.

In times of happiness;
In times of utmost joy;
I look towards the past had held for me.

Whether it be fear;
Whether it be Depression;
Whether it be annoyance;
Or whether it be all three.
I had successfully removed all problems;
I had annihilated;
I had decapitated;
I had hung, drawn and quartered;
The depression that had awaited.

In the small hope that sparkles in my teenage years;
The dizzy dreams;
 Of walking  purposefully;
Down a snowy street on Christmas eve;
With a Black suit;
Top hat upon my crown;
and a Cane within my grasp.

Whether it be fear;
Whether it be Depression;
Whether it be annoyance;
Or whether it be all three.
I am successfully removing all problems;
I am annihilating;
I am decapitating;
I hanging , drawing  and quartering;
The depression that is awaiting.

im not going to analyse your poem, 'cause it annoys me when people do it to mine. poems arent thought about, theyre just written from the heart.

this one shows where your heart is, and it certainly warmed mine.

awesome imagery! The repetition injects the reader with the daily battle of the writer. And I love the positive outlook of overcoming the 'demons' that haunt. Well done. : ) kathy
