once more

behind the line
a floor empty still
flags keeping watch

and me with you
my hand softly touching
open wounds

your eyes vulnerable
once more close
to love

so we stay in hiding
protecting the line
standing guard

protecting the sound of us

Here is an obscure thought that comes to mind. Some lines can be so busy like a highway, in Australia they have sound barriers that guard homes where the agitated hearts can live, you cross that line and bang!

I have so many obscure thoughts with this poem but I will keep my pedal of thought at slow speed, I found this very tender and vulnerable and I will behave now. ;)
