Married people can become weary due to stress. They even put their marriage on auto pilot. When their nest is empty they often find they've lost
touch with each other.
that flows from young beginnings
When all was butterflys in May
and life's lottery was all winnings
Like the waves that reach the shore
that began way out at sea
A tired heart sustains its beat
from first love's energy
Years of fighting enemies
of love that's right and true
Can make the strongest heart grow weak
And most often do
But stronger still is the love
that through tests and time grew
And when the heart feels death is near
Love reveals itself anew

A Tired Heart
A tired heart beats on with lovethat flows from young beginnings
When all was butterflys in May
and life's lottery was all winnings
Like the waves that reach the shore
that began way out at sea
A tired heart sustains its beat
from first love's energy
Years of fighting enemies
of love that's right and true
Can make the strongest heart grow weak
And most often do
But stronger still is the love
that through tests and time grew
And when the heart feels death is near
Love reveals itself anew
