january's dose of misery

On trying to explain the feeling of losing

Rainy grey javelins lance through the clouds

Bathing ev'ry lost shadow on life's lonely shroud

Such a setting so dreary that one can just smile

At the grimness of life's ev'ry lost mile

Words that cannot be spoken echo loud round my ears

Lost sentences dancing through forests of fears

Many nights spent hiding but an unbidden tear

Winds itself through my hate addled brain

Looking back at my path through this dismal black shower

The rain never parting as I, coatless, cower

I am counting the seconds, nay minutes and hours

That get me through till I can sleep

And such sleep, one can hope, must be deep..

beat give this so much effect, I like your songs more and more, at least we can play our musical instruments even in the darkest moment and still enjoy the music of our soul in every situation.
