My 2 year old great niece (Kathy Lockhart's granddaughter) visits me every Monday. She is constantly busy and my best efforts to keep her out of restricted areas are futile. She is smart and daring and she has my heart.

Daisy Lymericks

I know a dear tot named Daisy
To deny her one would be crazy
She would simply bypass
restraints for the lass
and make beavers and bees seem lazy

Daisy is all about eating
like a little lamb constantly bleeting
"I want to eat sumpin"
be it pudding or pumpkin
is her hello and goodbye daily greeting

She also likes to "brush teef"
The more the better, her belief
Again and again
with her pastey grin
"More" she says to be brief

Little Miss Daisy likes lotion
To her its a magic potion
She sneeks to find it
cause she knows I'll mind it
if she turns it into a small ocean

A lost passy requires a fit
It's her bane and she cannot quit
Cause she can't do without
it stays in her mouth
"so", she said, "I won't woose it."

Kathy Lockhart
Now this is a great poem! It has it all--especially the subject matter and how you related the truth so so ah truthfully. No better subject matter can be found as the adoring antics of our grands. I love this one. : ) the nana
