Lest we forget Mother Nature, she is making a big comeback, a new birth you might say. Her will trumps man's science. As I write, we are in the throes of a massive ice and snow storm with more on the way.

Iced In (an acrostic)

Icicles like crystal canines
cleave to the roof's rim
encased in an icy display
doorfront's light is dim

Ice wrapped trees glisten
nature's will is christened

Great write Phyllis, and I know what you mean. We had an ice storm down here in Arkansas in January, and in the northern part of the state there are still lots of people without electricitiy--in the 1000s according to the news people this morning.
