Oneword-drawer

A Long Yellow Pencil

He opened the drawer and drew out a long yellow pencil, sharpened to dagger's point

With it he pierced the pearly whiteness of the perfectly divided colleged-ruled flesh

Concrete emotion and thought poured out onto the page as if the paper was bleeding words with every stroke of his 'dagger'

Then it was over, quickly as the emotional blood ran dry and the pencil stood poised above the page

He opened the drawer and swiftly replaced the long yellow pencil, now rounded off to a hilly mound

Love the way you make dramatic something most people would see as quite ordinary. Really excellent! :)
