Colors
So many beautiful colorsSpread their wings as the sun rises
The child laughs in the grass
Dreaming of colorful fun times
With no regrets and no fears
Most of the colors are gone now
Only a few remain
The teenager thinks in the grass
Dreaming of a loved one
Filled with answerles questions
One or two colors shine through
Forcing their way
The grown up rushes past the grass
No time for laughing or thinking
All about work and obligations
The colors are all but gone now
Grey clouds appear up ahead
The grandparent sits on a bench by the grass
Simply looking at the skies
Waiting for everything to go away
