STRANGER

Naked children crowd
as I pass through the alleys
between smelly slums:
dogs bark to alert them to
the presence of a stranger

gives the feel of a third-world town... although, as lurie noted, in some of those places dogs are considered food, so maybe it would just be one of our own slums... oh, that's right, we don't have those here :P or some would like to think so :( for such a short piece, this speaks rather loudly. good job.

LurieJune
This reminds me of when I spent time in Taiwan...
the poor little villiages there with unclothed children playing in the dirt asking for food.
The dogs were sparce because they ate them. EWWWW!
Well painted picture!
