Yes, Tomorrow...

a wind has blown untamed this breezy day
a wind too strong for tendrils too soft to grasp,
like a handshake and hug that were
the largest white elephant in the room today...

we both smiled, his grin a little larger than mine.
the smile keeps me going through the confused night,
and all my anxiety flows into your soul.
tomorrow, i will say those words. yes, tomorrow.
