Quiet waters
calm white lakewake in this shell
... the spirit
sitting still
as hot cold steel
listening in deep airy silence
seven voices speak
speak on word
sedimentary outlay of oak and *iroko
like rows of orchestral seats
roots and branches whistle
whistle one word
blend in oneness
with cosmic mind
for real is the nearness
loose
the stony heart
anger
consuming storm
of love's flame...
*iroko tree is said to be one of the strongest and tallest trees in th rain forest of western Africa.
