The Swamp Of Despair

My home ground broke
From beneath my feet
The wooden floorboards
Of my family split

The foundation of love
Slowly crumbled
Due to the distance
And neglect

I plunge into the mud
The swamp of despair
Gasping at branches
That break in my hands

I'm up to my neck
And i'm sinking

Someone...
Give me some ground
To stand on

Stay
With
Me
