Sad but it isn't true, luckily...

Gone

She thinks
of the blood rushing through her veins
She wonders
if anyone will miss her
She mourns
the good times that will never be
She hopes
that death will not hurt as much as life
She remembers
everyone that has forsaken her
She knows
it will never get better
She plunges
the knife into herself
She hovers
between life and death
She breathes
her last breath of life
She dies
and falls to the floor

PoeticProcrastination
My god. Yes, it's very simple, but I love the format and style of this poem. From what little I know, you've perfectly captured the feelings of one about to commit suicide.

Marie
Wow. Simple sentences, yet says so much. I like it, even though it's tragic...
