Caused by worry and relief, and the actions of a couple of thoughtless six-year-olds.

Down by the River

Son
Today
You hurt me
By what you did.
Ignored what you know,
Listened to your best friend,
And went down to the river.
It could have ended so badly,
You could have lost your best friend down there,
And I could have lost my beautiful boy!

Purple Phoenix
Always a parents biggest fear... nicely penned Mr D.

Kathy Lockhart
oh the grief, the worry, the total loss of all that's good can and most certainly does when we cannot find our children. I applaud this piece for its heart laid bare and for the words which come pouring out like tears in relief of finding your child safe.

Hugs to you and your family especially to your son and his little friend.
