Mother's Smiles
Mother's smiles would stretch for miles.
Mother's smiles were friendly and warm.
Mother's smiles would make me glow.
And, my pride would grow.
I was special when I saw Mother's smiles.
Mother was there for all of us kids.
Mother always had a smile for one and all.
Mother was a short woman that stood mighty tall.
When Mother gave us one of her smiles, she became even taller.
Mother is gone, but I would walk for miles to see another one of her smiles.
That would be a small price to pay to see one more of Mother's smiles.
