Somewhere in the Middle

Somewhere in the middle,
between the joy and sorrow,
lie the long-forgotten dreams,
of those who vanished with tomorrow

Somewhere in the middle,
between the love and lust,
lie the haunting memories,
of those who broke our trust.

Somewhere in the middle,
between the hope and fate,
lie the shallow souls,
of those who made us hate.

Somewhere in the middle,
between the promises and truth,
lie the tearless cries,
of those who stole our youth.

Somewhere in the middle,
between the love and pain,
lie the broken hearts,
of those who loved in vain.

Somewhere in the middle,
between reason and rhyme,
lie all love's realizations,
for those who take time.

I guess i love the flow of ur write up, just like a wasted life after all. But the last stanza was sensible of letting one realise that there is still a choice no matter the pain all along. Beautiful work.
