This bit of nonsense is for my 6 year old granddaughter, Lucie, on Fathers' Day.
The one with the wobbly tale,
How much is that doggerel in the window?
I do hope that doggerel's for sale.
How much is that doggerel in the window?
The one with those awkward feet,
How much is that doggerel in the window?
I do hope that doggerel I'll meet.
How much is that doggerel in the window?
The one that rhymes out of tune,
How much is that doggerel in the window?
I do hope I'll take it home soon.
