To Be Saved

I know you need to be saved, darling.
Lord knows I need some saving too.
It's hard to find the comfort,
hard to not feel blue.

Dark clouds shatter your smile,
the ambiguous.

The impatience in your eyes
leaves bruises on your body.

I touch these weak spots
and find myself falling
into the arms of you.

We'll search this world.
Land to land, sea to sea.
You'll see - better be.

It's hard to find the comfort,
hard to not feel blue.
I know you need to be saved, darling.
Lord knows, you can save me too.

...there's so much weight in the words of this poem, reading them felt as though they were being said out loud...very well put together...
