Sorrow Tree

There's a tree on a hill,
reflecting man's will.
It's a sorrow tree, this is,
contains everything we miss.

Lightning storms and thunder rains.
The tree holds all our pains.
Gentle breeze and summer blue.
The tree will guide us through.

It's hard to be a sorrow,
hard to live in grief.
This tree will live tomorrow,
and change your sad belief.

Sorrow trees are bold and strong.
Sorrow trees live brave and long.
Sorrow trees give comfort warm.
Sorrow trees fight ache and storm.

So bury me under this sorrow tree.
Let me rest in peace, me.
I'll nurish the sorrow, nourrish the truth.
To give to the newborn, the babies, the youth.

Me like
the lot might seem
picayune
but with an ending tune
filled with know how
and oh so
opportune
