Kind of a follow up to my "Dance With Death" poem
and inspired by A.R.Glasgow's must-read poem "Torturous Contentment"

Wanting Death

I long to breathe my deathly kiss
upon your lively lips as your pale skin
steals my very soul and I ache
at your restless beauty,

Knowing you would find peace
if only you'd allow my chilling touch
to chain you to the dark being of my essence,

For you are a Queen of alively puzzlement
and I long to dominate you and hold you
in my deathly throes until you concede

To my unmortal coil and live free
from your earthly pain in my
perfect hell of willing pleasure,

For should not Death also have a mistress
to keep his scythe and black robes clean?

After all, it is not easy being the Grim Reaper
at times it does get quite lonely,
but you could appease my pain
if you'd only allow Death one kiss,

Why do you fear the Grim Reaper dear?
After all, am I not who you've always
longed for when earth's hell gets too much
and you, you ache for release from it all?

You call and I answer your mournful call
to take you and make you my Queen,
yet, after all that I offer, when all I
want in return is to dominate, control you,
you refuse even a simple dance with the one you seek

Oh let me steal just one kiss from your red lips
allow death to have it's willing way with you
I can forestall your mortal pain I came to your call
yet you tempt my wraith by refusing,

You may say "No" to me now
but remember next time I come

....I shall take what you owe me and offer you nought.
