Footsteps


I walk alone
in my own footsteps
leaving traces behind me
where I have been
my footsteps you will see

I tried changing my footsteps
been walking forever alone
looking for traces I must be blind
where I have been
no footsteps I find

Traces I lost
No traces I found
Tried to make new
wouldnt stay to the ground

Now I walk alone
no footsteps to see
Walking unnoticed
who cares its just me

Very inciteful about retracing our steps and not recognizing we've been here before and not leaving a trace of being here again because nobody cares. This had an impact on me as I go back to the future.
