I am convinced that at this instant
my mind is held captive by you
Your laugh an echo in my being
as your eyes look without seeing
that which becomes evidently clear

I am convinced that just last night
my dreams were enchanted by you
your works came to life in slumber
as gestures vividly precisely recalled
though still apart, fact established
undeniably simple, I love you

I am convinced that even tomorrow
my life will be a reflection of you
your tenderness, courage and love
as memories overcome resolve
that i can do without our bond
