Nice To Know You
We loved each otherWe held each others' hands
We shared our ups and downs
But we've lost it.
We both killed ourselves with silence
And we thought screams were nice
But both worked at both sides
And so we've lost it.
We both earned our penance
Penance we never seemed to dislike
We merit ourselves with this sarcasm
But we've lost it.
We once had everything
We once had joy and innocence
We one had our precious time
But they no longer exist.
We'll never spend times like these
I'll never sight an overwhelming laugh of you
You'll never see a fake grin of me
Sure, these faces will never be painted again.
It was very nice knowing you
But you're in heaven and I'm still living this life
I was hoping not to grieve every time I think of you
But it didn't work out.
So I decided to keep you inside
And lock you in my heart
No matter what happens
You'll never be forgotten and I will always say
"Nice to know you".
