Walk Away
It’s time to walk in another direction,
Can’t hurt you or anyone,
Now that I am here,
Maybe it was meant to be this way…
A lesson in life,
An experience,
A great deal of memories
That will never fade away.
You were a great teacher,
You thought her what it means to care
You were her guide when she was lost.
You were an ear when she needed to talk,
You were a shoulder when she needed to cry,
You were what she needed in certain times…
And she’ll say goodbye,
Holding back her tears,
Waiting to walk away
And release all her held back tears.
And it’s hard to say goodbye
To an angel who lifted her up
An angel who once gave her hope and courage
To get up and try again…
