if silent lips could scream

If silent lips could scream,
it was such a scream that rolled over her lips.

If closed eyes could cry,
it was such tears that rolled down from her eyelids.

If hand chained to a wall could pray,
it was such a pray that flooded from her fingertips.

If a body that was still could dance, rage against the skie,
run and jump in an
everlasting hail to the grotesque,
it was such a dance she was dancing now that her freedom had been stolen.

Zoya Zaidi
This is absolutely brilliant, so full of anguish and compassion!
Sorry for not coming in earlier, to your sensitive poetry!
Welcome form my side to the bay, I know I am a bit late, you have been around almost a couple of weeks...but though it is an awful cliche' but, "better late then never!"

((((hugs))))

Love, xxx, Zoya
