gifts from my grandchildren
upon my old bones
tickling mercilessly.
And how I laughed
from joy that errupted in my spirt
and dashed the pain of age.
I was 4, I was 2
understanding for those moments
how God intended our lives to be.
His ambassadors, loving purely,
showed their Mammy.
Mac and Maddie, I thank you.
