Or under the weather.

Bad Weather

A headache like lightning
flashes across my skull.
It could be allergies,
MSG, too much concentrating,
a brain tumor.
I suspect the last.
It would explain so many things.
My eccentricities,
oddments,
the archival footage
burned in the fireplace.
I pop a couple pills.
In an hour or so
the lightning storm will be over.
Taking with it thunder
and storm clouds.

I used to suffer from migrains in my youger days...for me, it was stress related and the fact that I need specs and was straining my eyes a lot. Popping pills, is an inadequate quick fix. Best go to the doc and get yourself checked out to allay any darker fears, that will only make the situation worse.

I don't know the MSG reference but I know when the weather is bad, I too get under the weather.

An interesting write.

Smiling at you

MSG...the silent killer ;-) Lurking everywhere...
eccentricities are a distinct positive in a world that tries to homogenize!
I relate...and enjoyed.
Merci Madame Anne!
