DESERTED
Its been a long timesince I stepped into
the familiar paths
the enchanted land
the land of my reverie
Finally I reached
face to face
to my childhood abode
I could hardly breath and feel
the same air and affection
It looked like a mangled skeleton
ripped off flesh and blood
nothing left
neither beauty nor warmth
only the ruin..ruin..ruin..
Cobwebs and insects
playing hide and seek
along the corridor and wall
I'd never dreamt
It would turn out so
Staring at the ruins
it revealed to me
even the mute and the abstract things
needs one thing desperately
love and care of human
I left the scene
with a heavy heart
missing my halcyon days
missing my blissful sleep
missing my happy home
