An Incomplete Childhood

Grown up together
a bunch of juvenile boys
our names would live forever
as we bled the same soil
ran into a world of demands
sprung from our childhood
without the necessity at hands
forced into manhood
fights and disputes between trusted friends
something that came to arise
an unbreakable bond would soon come to end
and forever would be under closed eyes

Entered a world were drugs ruled
what love was no one knew
girls were comfort along with cocaine
4 am and after this morning it would never be the same

Forever was twenty three years long
it ended with a needle in your arm
as you sung out your goodbye
with a nose full of coke I tried to bring you back to life

Anger struck me and someone has to pay
but who's to blame for the poison in his vein
we had everything except the wits inside
the will to hold on and the strength to revive
cause without water how is a rose to survive

An incomplete childhood
left forever so short

an incomplete childhood
left forever so short....
