You Have Mail?
There's nothing I like better than to get a letter
From a distant loved one or a long lost friend
Snail mail takes some licking
But the clock as started ticking
And the thought of it just drives me round the bend
Will I get no pleasant mail ?
Have things gone beyond the pale?
Will the people writing letters cease to send?
Email will end this joyous caper
Of putting pen to paper
And the postman will be jobless that I fear
When the year is Two-O-Ten
I'll need a PC then to send
Will my correspondence dwindle down to nil?
Look on the brighter side - be glad
The future's not so sad
As p'raps I'll never get another bill.
