TO FOOL LONELINESS
You watch me in the mirror and I see you.
Parasiting habitant of two.
This body is ours to feed on,
other companions are long gone.
To fool loneliness I invented you,
a mirror image, copy of blue.
I comb your hair, you straighten my tie.
Oh what a perfect, little innocent lie.
We move among others but they cannot see
the perfect balance between you and me.
All they see is a lonely soul,
desperately searching for the greater whole.
And yes it might be true,
I was pretty lost I admit.
But then I found you.
Such a perfect, flawless fit.
Alone ever after we'll live.
The others we won't need.
They have nothing to give
except frenzy and greed.
