Depression no. 99

Thinking about the memories
all the things that we've been through
what do they mean
without you.

Thinking about the days when you were by my side
fighting 'way our problems though the river on it's tide
when we were young oh, and you, you were so kind

Where have they gone, they are gone so far away
Where have they gone, they are gone too far away
And I am left here with my sorrows.

They have gone the way of all time my friend, Into the now, where we stand and wonder...but! Life doesn't allow us to wander for too long, it picks us up and thrusts us into the now, creating distraction, if we don't do it ourselves!lol This is what happened to me, since I found myself stranded alone on this planet of anxiety.

No.99 huh? I beat you by about 20,000!lol

Writing the blighter out of our systems, is the gift god gave the poet.

Amen

Smiling at you
