The rheumatic pain
in her ankles, knees and wrist
and ageing hipbone
make her a couch potato
shunning my touch and caress

personally i like the use of 'couch potato' it makes it so the poem expresses her suffering, and your frustration (a truly understandable feeling)... well done. :)

Oh I do understand her pain....I suffer the same way. She still loves you just as much as before. It's just so painful for her to show it some times.
