Another dream. For Cia.

Missing someone (The words I never told you)

Missing someone to have breakfast with
Missing someone just talking to.
I wish you were here so I can say
The words I never told you
Everything would have been so simple then.

Now you're gone somewhere in the world
Disappearing shadows of my mind, off my mind.

Missing someone lunching with
Missing someone buying roses for
Missing someone just longing for
When days are growing old
Everything would have been so easy then.

Knowing we can never be a pair
But it hurts much more when you will never know,
will never know.

Missing someone dining with
Missing someone just walking with
Missing someone dancing with
In the light breeze summer night
Everything would have been so lovely then

I know you're married somewhere far away
But I can't stop the sorrow in my heart,
In my heart,
In my heart.

Griffonner The PoetBay support member heart!
Read 703 times as of now, and only two comments on this beautiful piece of poetry is lamentable! It is like robbery isn't it? People come and take your words and emotions into their heads, and leave without even a thank you. Well, for all those people who did that, I give you a gigantic THANK YOU FOR SHARING, wherever you are.
Blessings to you and yours, Allen

Interestingly, ending lines with prepositions makes for an effective lament!
