A Dream of Passing Life
Thoughts blank of endless darknessMinds filled with cheerless doubt
When all we can do is sit and wait
While the ones we love are always the ones
We realize we hate the most
Yet when we miss the chance
To love those we hate the most
When the thoughts of life are dear at most
Bringing an end with abrupt force
Bringing to us a deep hope
A hope of kindness and of joy
A hope of light and endless life
Yet when we are hit and staggered
We realize the world around us
Beginning to show us awakening
From a dream of lasting happiness
Into a world of sorrow and despair
