The disaster in Haiti saddens my soul tonight. This is for those who survive, especially those who's life was changed in a few minutes from Hell.
Your Motherland Shall Cry Forever More
close your eyes little brother, the darkness hastens the solemn night...
hush your cries little sister,
the thunder rumbles from within this earth.
search these dusty streets dear father,
look beyond the things your eyes can see...
maybe you will awaken tomorrow,
and know this all has been a dream.
open your heart dear mother,
help the tiny child along the way...
lift his cares onto your bosum,
and hold his heart within your own.
the world sees the ravage rumble,
it sees the dawning of your day,
never again will you be forgotten...
your motherland shall cry forever more.
