When You Fall Asleep
if you wake up nowyou will never be able
to fall asleep again
because the dreams will hunt you
along bloodrivers and shameful waves
I cut your heart in two
open wide
one for mommy
one for daddy
for the blood that remains
and the blood that never were
the coagulated
the navel-string suffocates
crawls in close, breathing
walk the line, the string
balancing between the living
and the dream
the hidden
if you fall asleep now
you will never
wake up again
