THE GIRL AND THE IGLOO
She's living in an igloo,
cold of ice and snow.
All the damp has made her
lose her wit and glow.
Other children tease her.
"Frosty frosty white!"
But they don't know why
she lost her inner light.
At the age of three her mother died,
and her father lost his mind.
It' not easy to keep warm
without the parenting kind.
Some of you may wonder:
What happened to the girl in white?
Did she manage to get past
the icy shades of fright?
She struggled for a many years,
until she finally gave in.
She made a coffin of ice and snow
to rest her soul within.
The moisty damp made her
lose her wit and glow.
She's living in an igloo
cold of ice and snow.
